Great Personal Finance Reads:
- One Money Design wrote a post called DebtGoal Helps Eliminate Debt. Here is what Jason had to say about DebtGoal, “I recently came across a FREE online tool called DebtGoal which does most of the work for you. It enables you to set up a debt plan and manage to a consistent payment schedule.” Personally, I love finding free resources.
- This week I came across an article from Crown Financial Ministries. The article was actually not written this week, but I stumbled across it while surfing. The Seven Principles of Investing shares some of Larry Burkett’s thoughts on investing. There is also a downloadable mp3.
- FreeMoneyFinance has Five Tips Every Parent Should Consider When Sending Children To College. My favorite tip: create an online budget. Help your children set up and get accustomed to a budgeting process.
- Experiments in Finances has a piece on Using Excel’s Built-in Amortization Schedule. A helpful “how to” post.
- The Wisdom Journal encourages us to Transform Needs into WANTS. If you find yourself ‘needing’ more than your budget can allow, I suggest you read this article.
