I’m glad to know churches are teaching about the importance of stewardship. Everything we have can be used in service of God and his kingdom.

Our church covered stewardship fairly in depth last month, and it was about much more than tithing or giving financial gifts. It was about using the gifts God gave us to their potential, and using them to honor Him and His church body. It was a great series, and one I would love to revisit.

Thank you! It is very encouraging to see someone point out the fact that we need to be managers/stewards of all God entrusts us with… not just our money!

One of biggest failures of most Christians is a lack of managing their health wisely. If I had a $5 bill for every church function I attended that was serving hotdogs, chips, and soda pop I could retire (well, not retire… but I would have a lot of $5 bills!)

It is time we stop focusing on praying for God to bail us out – and time we start properly managing what He has so graciously entrusted us with.

I find a huge help to get me in the proper mindset is thankfulness. The more thankful I am for everything in my life… the more God grants wisdom to make the proper decisions with my resources.
